sooo busy and little time to blog!

We had an extra sweet celebration this week for a grandmother, her mother, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Nana (the great-grandmother) obviously had a marvelous time...stating that it was "the greatest party ever" and suggesting that I now offer parties for girls ages 3 - 93! Omi, the birthday girl (and grandmother) was thrilled with the candles placed atop her cupcake tier...oh to be 5 again, she exclaimed! When she asked "why five", I replied...aside from keeping her age a mystery...5 makes a perfect tiara topper. I know...it's probably only something I would notice but those little details are so important to me. I can't help myself at times!
Can't wait to share these fun pictures...check back soon! What a treasure these memories will be for the girls when they are older. I just know they'll never forget Omi's tea party!

Parties for January 12 and 13, 2008

This petite princess celebrated her 2nd birthday at the boutique. Now most of you know I usually don't do parties for this age group but I'm so glad I did. They were just precious!

"Tea with Alice" Saturday, December 8, 2007

Cookies & Tea for Me! hosted the children's matinee after-party "Tea with Alice" at TCC Theatre's production of Alice in Wonderland. It was such a fun event! The children and parents alike commented on the larger-than-life teapot, blooming tea cakes, polka dot tea cups and magical setting for greeting and having tea with the cast. Thank you, TCC Theatre, for inviting me to sponsor this event.

The guests were invited to join us for pink tea and sugary confections resembling flowers.

The Queen mingled with the crowd of 125 little tea party guests,
plus parents and other attendees.

Humpty Dumpty was able to pull himself back together to visit with the tea party guests.

Amazing makeup and costumes!

Alice was delightful!

The cast greeted guests and autographed show posters for each child.

Over 250 balloons created a unique teapot centerpiece for the tea party.

Some of the cast from TCC Theatre's Alice in Wonderland...
I'm squished in the middle next to Alice.
